Key dates and deadlines for transfer students seeking admission to Brown.

Application Deadline |

| Application deadline for sophomore transfer applicants interested in spring 2025 entry. Your Transfer Common Application and Brown Supplement must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. (applicant's local time) on this date. The other elements of your application may be received after this date. | |
Financial Aid |

| In order to ensure a financial aid notification is available at the time of admission, students should submit both the Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and their CSS Profile by this date. Transfer applicants who are interested in applying for federal and institutional financial aid should complete both forms. | |

| Music supplements can be submitted through SlideRoom. The deadline to create a SlideRoom account is October 2. | |

Video Introduction Submission Deadline |
| The deadline to submit a video introduction is October 8 for the spring entry application. Video introductions may be submitted through the Brown Applicant Portal. | |
| Early October 2024 |
Missing Materials Reminder |
| If required materials are missing from your application, you will be emailed a reminder to log in to the Brown portal to view which credentials have been received and which credentials are still missing. | |
| November 1, 2024 |
Mid Term Report Submission Deadline |
| The Mid Term Report, found on the Common Application, should be uploaded through your Brown Applicant Portal. You should list your current courses and then ask each of your professors to provide a progress grade. | |
| Late November 2024 |
Transfer Decisions Released |
| In late November, Transfer decisions are released online. You will receive an email from Brown when your admission decision is available. | |
| Early December 2024 |
Commitment Deadline for Transfer Applicants |
| Please note that Brown does not have an enrollment deposit. | |
| January 6, 2025 |
Final Transcript Deadline |
| Enrolling transfers for the spring of 2025 must submit their official fall term 2024 transcript by this date. If your current institution's scheduled grade release date does not allow you to meet this deadline, please email transferadmission@brown.edu and provide the expected arrival date of your official final transcript | |

Orientation |
| Transfer students arrive on campus for orientation and the start of spring classes. Specific dates will be provided by the TRUE Office. |

Quarter system students should submit an updated College Transcript that includes final grades for their winter quarter courses by April 1, and submit a Mid Term Report with progress grades for their spring quarter courses by April 17. | |
