Undergraduate Admission

Financial Aid for RUE Applicants

Brown is committed to meeting 100 percent of demonstrated financial need for all undergraduates.

  • International RUE applicants will be considered under Brown's need-aware financial aid policy, consistent with University policy for all other application rounds.
  • Applicants to the RUE program who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and eligible to apply as first-year applications will be considered under Brown's need-blind admission policy, consistent with University policy for all first-year applicants.
  • RUE applicants who are classified as transfer applicants due to prior college-level coursework are considered for admission on a need-aware basis, consistent with University policy for transfer applicants.

Financial Aid Applications and Deadlines

Applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid must complete Brown’s RUE Financial Aid Application by March 1, available online from the Office of Financial Aid.

Applicants must also submit the FAFSA and Federal Income Tax returns, if applicable. Please see complete policy information and links to forms on the Office of Financial Aid website.
