Group Visit

Schedule a visit for a group of students from high schools, community-based organizations (CBOs), or other college access groups.

We look forward to working with you to accommodate your visit to Brown’s distinctive campus in Providence, Rhode Island.

If you are interested in bringing a group of students from a high school, community based organization (CBO), or other college access group, please register in advance to schedule a visit. We welcome requests from CBOs and college access groups and recognize the important role they play in expanding access to college for many students.

Due to high demand, our office is not able to provide group visit programming for students who are not currently in high school (grades 9-12).

  • I understand that our group is participating in the entirety of a 60-minute walking tour of campus, unless specified otherwise.
  • I understand that our group doesn't include anyone below ninth grade.
  • I understand that if our group arrives more than 15 minutes after the confirmed start time of our visit, then the visit schedule will be adjusted to cover as much as possible within the remaining time frame (tours are 60 minutes in their entirety).
  • If our group arrives more than 30 minutes after the confirmed start time of our visit, I understand that tour guide(s) will no longer be available and that our group will be provided with a self-guided tour to follow on our own.
  • I have provided an accurate head count of all visitors in our group and will notify the Visit Coordinator of any changes at least four business days before our scheduled visit date.
  • Chaperones must stay with their group at all times and address any disruptive behavior if it should occur.
  • I understand that the Office of College Admission reserves the right to end our visit and/or refuse future visits if inappropriate behavior occurs while our group is on campus.
  • I understand that filming of the tour is strictly prohibited.
  • I understand that the Tour Guide(s) may divide our group into smaller groups in order to provide the best visit experience.
  • I will notify the Visit Coordinator at least two days in advance if we need to cancel our visit.
