Zola Narisetti

Biography

Hi! My name is Zola, and I am a member of the Class of 2027 from Brooklyn, New York. At Brown, I concentrate in Psychology and French and Francophone Studies. Following my passion for psychology, I work as an undergraduate research assistant in the Causality and Mind Lab and serve as a teaching assistant for Social Psychology. My time in the lab has been an incredible experience, during which I’ve gained valuable research skills and built strong friendships. Outside the classroom, I am an active member of several student organizations. I serve as an Outreach and Partnerships Officer for Brown Votes, the Arts & Culture Editor for the Black Star Journal (Rhode Island’s only Black newspaper), and, of course, as a Student Ambassador/Tour Guide. Beyond academics, I enjoy going on runs around College Hill, watching Law and Order: SVU, and exploring new restaurants both in Providence and back home in New York. I’m always happy to share more about my experiences at Brown—please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
