Ellison Mucharsky
Biography
Hello! My name is Ellison, and I am a member of the Class of 2026 from Denver, Colorado. At Brown, I’m studying Neuroscience and English on the Nonfiction Writing track, with a focus on the interconnections between STEM and the humanities. On campus, I am a member of the Army ROTC, captain of the Club Triathlon team, staff writer for Sole Magazine, and teaching assistant in the Biology Department. I have worked as a research assistant in a clinical neuroimaging lab investigating veteran mental health, and I am currently working on my honors thesis in the English Department. I am also engaged in various mental health initiatives on campus, including leading No Empty Seats, Inc., partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to plan campus-wide events, and founding a social media campaign to provide students with information about university-wide resources. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about ROTC, club sports, STEM and humanities classes, anything pre-med, student resources, or research opportunities at Brown! |
