Biography
| Hi! My name is Zola, and I am a member of the Class of 2027 from Brooklyn, New York. At Brown, I double concentrate in Psychology and French and Francophone Studies. Following my passion for psychology, I work as an undergraduate research assistant in two labs at Brown: the Causality and Mind Lab and the Designers Lab. I also serve as a teaching assistant for Brain Damage and the Mind. My time in the lab has been an incredible part of my Brown experience, allowing me to develop as an independent researcher, explore questions I am genuinely curious about, and ultimately pursue an honors thesis in psychology. Outside the classroom, I am an active member of several student organizations: I serve as an Outreach and Partnerships Senior Officer for Brown Votes, the Arts & Culture Editor for the Black Star Journal, and, of course, a Student Ambassador/Tour Guide. Beyond academics, I enjoy going on runs around College Hill and exploring new restaurants both in Providence and back home in New York. I’m always happy to share my experiences if you have any questions! |
