Zachary Freer

Biography

Hi! My name is Zach, and I'm a member of the class of 2027 at Brown. I was born and raised in New York City, but for the past 10 years have lived in Barcelona, Spain - which means that here on campus, I am considered an international student! I'm currently pursuing a double concentration in Philosophy and Economics, and have a number of involvements outside of the classroom. I am a section director (and editor!) for the politics (and economics!) section of Brown's Journal of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, a member of the Brown Club Baseball team, a Meiklejohn Peer Advisor for incoming first-year students, and a TA through the Math Teaching Fellows Program. Besides that, I coach the Spanish national debate team, and perhaps most importantly am a member of the Brown Cheese Club! Please feel free to reach out with literally any questions you may have!
