Biography
| Hi!! My name is Emma Ferraro, and I’m a member of the Class of 2027 from Smithfield, Rhode Island—just a quick 25-minute drive from campus. At Brown, I am studying Chemical Engineering with an interest in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Outside of my classes, I am very involved in Brown’s figure skating club, where I compete and teach learn-to-skate classes. I also participate in Women in Science and Engineering and work on research and development for the Brown Alternative Protein Project, while also serving as a Meiklejohn Peer Advisor. In my free time, you can find me playing guitar, exploring new music, reading, journaling, or enjoying a peaceful walk!
